Biography

Dr. Scarafone grew up outside of Doylestown, PA. After high school, he attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in microbiology. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he earned his doctorate. Dr. Scarafone was the President of the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, where he developed a deeper understanding for all patient needs, with a focus on treating patients with special needs. After dental school, he completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center where he treated high complexity patients, often times in an operating room setting. He also spent time working with military veterans in Hines, VA , where there was an emphasis on oral surgery and restorative dentistry. Dr. Scarafone understands the importance of feeling comfortable, informed, and confident while at the dentist. He strives to treat his patients with a gentle touch and with attention to detail. Dr. Scarafone stays up to date with the advancing dental technology and engages in continuing education. He is a member of Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Scarafone enjoys golfing with friends and family, cooking, playing chess, and exercising.
